Girl Scouts offers the freedom to tailor your level of involvement to fit your schedule and lifestyle. For instance, you can work directly with girls or support the adults who do. And, you can choose from either short-term or long-term assignments. Are you ready to take the first step toward volunteering with Girl Scouts – Dakota Horizons?
Become a volunteer and make a difference in the lives of girls! Girl Scouts will match your skills, talents, interests and goals to volunteer opportunities. All volunteers must pay annual membership dues of $12. All positions require a background check and references. Some also require a short phone conversation to assure a good match.
If you are ready to make a difference in a girl’s life:
- Complete the Volunteer Application and submit to the Volunteer Assistant, 1101 S Marion Rd, Sioux Falls, SD 57106
- Complete an Adult Registration Form and return it to your nearest Service Center or to the address above with your $12 annual membership dues.

- If you are working with a Series or Event, you will want to complete Volunteering for Girl Scout Series and Events. Password is: volunteer
